The Pierside Hotel inspires an easy come, easy go kind of getaway, where you can travel from bed to beach in a heartbeat. Located just steps from the famed Santa Monica Pier, our hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want to want a day of wild rides or laidback beach relaxing. 

 

You can spot our mural by American contemporary artist and activist, Shepard Fairey facing west towards the Santa Monica Pier. This cultural mosaic of Santa Monica features a woman representing strength and positivity, framed by a Pacific Ocean Park amusement park ticket from the 1950s, and nods to the skater / surfer history of the “Dog Town” days of Santa Monica from the 1970s.

We’re big dog lovers at The Pierside and would love to host you and your pooch as long as they’re under 50 lbs. Please note that a one-time, non-refundable $125 pet fee will be applied.

Our Santa Monica neighborhood is home to eight square miles of culture, packed with famous attractions, restaurants, shops, and nature. Discover all the best things to do in Santa Monica and around The Pierside.

Located in The Pierside Hotel is one of Santa Monica’s newest restaurants, The Surfing Fox — now open! This ocean-view eatery is an all-day destination and chilled-out gathering spot serving up coastal California cuisine using local ingredients from land and sea.

The closest airport to The Pierside is the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), followed by Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR).

Downtown Santa Monica is walkable and easily accessible by car, plane, train, bus, or bike. Explore the best ways to get to The Pierside and around the city.
