We’re big dog lovers at The Pierside and would love to host you and your pooch as long as they’re under 50 lbs. Please note that a one-time, non-refundable $125 pet fee will be applied.

The Pierside Hotel doesn’t accommodate events, but our on-site restaurant, The Surfing Fox, is bookable for private events, weddings, and corporate groups.

Yes. There are six sets of connecting rooms available at The Pierside, all connecting to accessible rooms. Please contact us for more information about booking connecting rooms.

Your reservation qualifies for a group discount if you book eight or more rooms, contact [email protected] with your inquiry.

Yes, we’re happy to accommodate same-day arrivals if there is a room or suite available. Same-day bookings are non-refundable and non-cancelable.

All reservations must be canceled 48 hours before 3:00 pm the day of your check-in. A one-night penalty will be charged if a reservation is canceled within 48 hours.

Located in The Pierside Hotel is one of Santa Monica’s newest restaurants, The Surfing Fox — now open! This ocean-view eatery is an all-day destination and chilled-out gathering spot serving up coastal California cuisine using local ingredients from land and sea.

Yes. The Pierside will open a 24-hour fitness center equipped with cardio machines, free weights, yoga mats, a Peloton Bike, and more! Now Open!  

Our heated pool is now open! 

Our king rooms can accommodate up to three guests (thanks to a queen-size sofa sleeper!), and our double queen rooms can accommodate up to four guests.

Our checkout time is 11:00 am. Late checkout is available, subject to availability. The late checkout fee is a half-day current, direct-booking daily rate until 2:00 pm and a full rate anytime after.

The Pierside doesn’t offer EV charging stations at this time.

Rollaway beds are not available. 

Smoking is prohibited in all our rooms and suites, including the balconies. The penalty for smoking at The Pierside is a $400 fee.

You need to be 18 years of age to make a reservation at The Pierside.

Yes, The Pierside offers both cribs and Pack n’ Plays upon guest request. Please let us know if you’d like either of these options in your room, and we’ll have everything ready for when you arrive.

Yes, all our rooms and suites at The Pierside offer unit-controlled air conditioning.
