The Pierside is conveniently located roughly 15 miles away from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Driving is the most popular option, but here are some other ways to get to us.

Rideshare: You can use popular rideshare apps, including Uber or Lyft

Public Transportation: For guests looking for a more budget-friendly option, public transportation is a great fit. You can use the Big Blue Bus, which takes you all over LA You can also take the Metro E Line, which is a light rail line.

The Pierside is located roughly 30 miles away from Los Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). Driving is the most efficient way of getting to The Pierside. You can also get here via Uber, Lyft or a local taxi

Downtown Santa Monica is a very walkable area. If you’re looking to get around a little quicker, check out The Board Shop and pick up a rental skateboard. You can also find a number of rentable bicycles along the way.

Yes, we’re big dog lovers here at The Pierside and would love to host you and your pooch as long as they’re under 50 lbs. Please note that a one-time, non-refundable $125 pet fee will be applied.

Yes, we’re happy to accommodate same-day arrivals if there is a room or suite available. Same-day bookings are non-refundable and non-cancelable.

All reservations must be canceled 48 hours before 3:00 pm the day of your check-in. A one-night penalty will be charged if a reservation is canceled within 48 hours.

Our year-round pool is open daily from 7 AM to 8 PM – perfect for a refreshing dip after a day spent exploring the Santa Monica pier or savoring the city’s best bites. Lounge, sip, and soak in the coastal vibes.

Our king rooms can accommodate up to three guests (thanks to a queen-size sofa sleeper!), and our double queen rooms can accommodate up to four guests.

Yes, our checkout time is 11:00 am. Late checkout is available, subject to availability. The late checkout fee is a half-day current, direct-booking daily rate until 2:00 pm and a full rate anytime after.

No, The Pierside doesn’t offer EV charging stations at this time, but there are public charging stations as well as Tesla Superchargers available within walking distance of the property.

No, rollaway beds are not available.

No, Smoking is prohibited in all our rooms and suites, including the balconies. The penalty for smoking at The Pierside is a $400 fee.

You need to be 18 years of age to make a reservation at The Pierside.

Yes, The Pierside offers both cribs and Pack n’ Plays upon guest request. Please let us know if you’d like either of these options in your room, and we’ll have everything ready for when you arrive.
