Morning

Swing by the front desk, grab what fits your mood from the Board Shop, and build the morning around the coast. Pack a beach chair and umbrella for an easy reset, grab a bodyboard for time in the water, or go all in with a surfboard and a GoPro for proof that your “quick beach stop” turned into the best part of the trip.

Head straight to Santa Monica State Beach, located just across from the hotel, a two-mile stretch with biking and walking paths, volleyball and basketball courts, and plenty of room to spread out. It is ideal for guests who want a real beach day without giving up the rest of their schedule. Make sure to grab an e-bike to go to the Venice Fan Zone, which is offered complimentary for the first hour!

Afternoon

Grab a foxtail (a foxy twist on cocktails) or two at The Surfing Fox before heading over to Los Angeles Stadium for the soccer game. We recommend trying the award-winning Ceviche with coconut leche de tigre, the Oaxacan Hot Chicken sandwich, and the Fish Tacos.

Time to head out to catch the soccer game we’ve all been waiting for! While you are only 12 miles away from SoFi Stadium, we recommend building in extra time to account for the crowds and security lines. Order a rideshare or take the Metro transit located just steps from the hotel. Metro will run a direct 2026 match-day service from 1234 4th St, with fares priced at $1.75 each way.

Later

Ride high on the excitement of the soccer match at night and visit the iconic Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Park, home of the Pacific Wheel Ferris Wheel and a retro roller coaster.

There is something truly magical about the Pier at night, in all its lit-up beauty. After a roller coaster ride and taking in the 360 views of the Ferris Wheel, have a local vendor create something truly unique for you – whether it’s your name engraved in a rice grain or a fun caricature, it’s a keepsake souvenir you can’t leave without.
